Using the counter

For people with pages on the Hogeschool Zeeland server:

To activate a counter in a certain HTML-page add the following:
< IMG SRC="http://www.HZeeland.nl/cgi-bin/nph-count?arg1=value1&arg2=value2">
where arg1,2,.... are any of the supported arguments.

The following arguments are currently supported:

• width=number
  Specifies the number of digits in the resulting image.
• link=URL of the page on which the counter is located
  The link-argument is used to keep track of a certain counter. It should be unique for each counter. A good choice is the URL of the page on which the counter image is located.
  B sure to specify an unique URL for your counter, otherwise someone else's counter value might be mixed with your's.

Example 1:

< IMG SRC="http://www.HZeeland.nl/cgi-bin/nph-count?width=4&;link=//www.HZeeland.nl/~myuserid/mypage.html">

Example 2:

< IMG SRC="/cgi-bin/nph-count?width=4&;link=//www.HZeeland.nl/~myuserid/mypage.html">
